I'm dropping Angus off at some caravan park near Great Yarmouth .. all his brothers & 7 kids .. agggghhhhhhh. He's dreading it. My family are all congragating on the North Norfolk coast at mt Brother-in-laws sisters house (Sarah lives in New York so they've got it set up as a holiday home). It's right next door to the pub so I guess that'll feature!!
Anyway, give us a buzz sometime, it will be great to catch up.

Just been catching up on your travels .. sounds fabulous but how do you find the time to keep up with all this blogging stuff??!!

Thought of you yesterday .. as Ang' & I nipped into the Pick'n'Pay .. yup we're back in CPT!! City is better than ever .. few changes here & there except of course in the Bronx! The barmen are still swinging their bells!

We're staying in Clifton this time, just over the hill from Camps Bay. Found a great apartmentos just a few steps down to the beach .. you drift off to sleep & wake up in the morning to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach .. fabulous!! Place even has wireless internet access .. albeit with a slightly doggy connection.

It was freezing when we left home last week. Was up in Birmigham last Thursday & got covered in snow walking back to the train station .. brrrrrr. We were glad to get on the plane. Weather is fab here .. off to the beach in the morning.

Lots of love
Winter continues here (yuk!) just back from a little business trip to Edinburgh .. it was actually warmer up in Scotland than it is here in Londres.

Off to Heathrow this afternoon .. but sadly not to get on a plane. My Ma & Pa are off to Australia for 3 months this eve. Their trip of a lifetime particularly when you consider Dad almost died year before last & is still suffering the consequences of his stroke (still cant use his left arm, left leg a bit gammy & the doctor wont let him drive etc). They seem to be doing the whole of Aussie land .. plane, train, automobile, Boat .. you name it they're doing it! Wish I was going!!

Ang' & I have 2 weeks (bit different from your extended trip!!) off at the end of March, nothing booked yet but it will have to be somewhere nice & warm.
Wow!! What a Christmas you've had .. a lttle more energetic that ours!! We had our first Christmas in the new house with Ang's Mother & my parents .. the first time they've spent more than a couple of hours together. All worked our well although Angus & I didn't stop for a minutes rest .. these parents can be very demanding!

2 xmas in the UK on the trot, must make sure we're overseas next year .. cant believe that it's 5 years since we did the Las Vegas & Hawaii trip .. how time fly's... & 2 years ago we were in New Orleans ..

We have Mark & John, Miriam & Neil and Cliff & Greg for the NY celebrations tomorrow eve .. rip roaring event that will be!! We have 3 cases of wine & a block of beer chilling in the garden so that should get things going a bit .. been pretty cold over the last week, had snow in East Dulwich on Tuesday & Kent was under about 10cm in places.

Did we tell you that Miriam & Neil are getting "married" on 4th March?? The first of our friends to take advantage of the new Civil Partnership rights which came in on 21/12 .. all that marching we did years ago has finally paid off.

Just been reading your latest updates .. Yeah .. we're suffering from the blues too .. back from our fabby trip to Perth yesterday afternoon & just getting through the jetlag.

Perth was quite different from other Aussie cities we've been too, much more laid back than the likes of Sydney. Lots more Brits living there too. Fantastic beaches, lots of white sand & turquoise waters and loads of fresh air. Weather was good .. rained once in town .. the weather report on the TV claimed 0.4mm .. Wowee!! Had a few days down in the Margaret River Wine Region which proved even more laid back than Perth. Needless to say we tried a few of the local brews .. and even bumped into a kangaroo on the way back (on foot) from a local micro brewery .. first time I've ever see a kagaroo in the wild .. they're pretty big up close!!??

Now we're back. It's cold (about 5c) and so dark. The sun shone today but after 2 weeks of brilliant sunshine it was like a 40w build with the dimmer turned to low .. so depressing. & it's flamin' Christmas everywhere .. agggghhhhh !!!!

Even more depressing is the thought of having to get up (in the dark) & go to work in the morning :( .. oh well it will help pay for the next holiday I guess .. got a couple of weeks booked off in March.

Dinner gong has sounded .. have fun

Lots of love
