The divers were up at 6am, so by the time I was up for breakfast they were back already. They were happier than the previous day when Cynthia lept from the boat in a foul mood - something about Estaban going too fast and the group getting seperated and the dive being aborted. The rest of us were truly thankful that Liza and Cynthia were in a better mood!
After breakfast the whole group made a very very wet landing on the beach called Garner Bay. The Nemo I dingy had to abandon the landing! Visibility was too poor for snorkelling, but we had great fun body surfing in the crashing waves. The water was swimming pool temperature - fantastic! I sunbathed afterwards among the sealions.
By the time we left the beach, the waves had calmed down a bit. Apparently the reason for choppy seas is to do with the moon causing high tides. Back on board, we motored to Punta Scuarez, still on Espaρola for a walk at midday (yes - mad dogs and English men!). We were rewarded by close up views of the endemic blue footed and Nazca boobies.

Lunch was at around 2pm that day, and what a feast including an interesting potato "roulade" with tuna filling - and that was just the carbs! We then settled into to a 10 hour navigation to the next island. The sea was just a gentle swell, and we were escorted by dolphins for a while. The sunset was beautiful.
That evening some of us managed to stay up until 9.30, playing a drinking game - to banana daquiris!
Sleep well,
Chris

Heh Chris,
Great pictures from the Galapagos Islands. Really take me back. Hope you get to see Kicker Rock, near Isla San Cristobal.
All the best
